I'm an English and journalism teacher at King College Prep, a selective enrollment high school in the Chicago Public Schools, and a 2010 Golden Apple Fellow.
I'm in my eleventh year of teaching, and this blog will largely serve as a repository of tricks and tips, as well as the occasional rambling on education-related things.
This is an experiment, which in many ways describes my entire teaching career, and so I may decide to discontinue it at any time. But if this is at all useful or interesting, please follow me or leave comments.
